Below you will find important information/forms for college bound students.

FAFSA becomes available October 1, 2018. To complete a FASA, please follow the instructions below:

  1. You AND your parent/guardian will first need to fill out a FASA ID. Click the following link to create an ID: https://studentaid.ed.gov/sa/fafsa/filling-out/fsaid (link is external)
  2. Then you complete your FAFSA by clicking on the following link: https://studentaid.ed.gov/sa/fafsa/filling-out (link is external)

Over 500 schools use the Common Application. Some local colleges/universities that use it are: Miami University, Ohio State University, Otterbein, University of Cincinnati, University of Dayton, University of Kentucky, Wittenberg University, and Xavier University.

Scholarship Search Suggestion: View the scholarship page of the college or university your child is interested in attending. Each college/university offer scholarship opportunities.

College Plans Document: This document can be used to help compare and contrast schools as well as keep track of upcoming dates.

College Visit Absence Form: Seniors are permitted two excused absences to visit a college or university campus and juniors are permitted one. In order for it to be excused a "College Visit Absence Form" must be completed and returned to Mrs. Spears or Mrs. Rapier prior to the planned visit. The student MUST also bring something back from the campus showing they visited the school on that specific day.

Transcript Release Form: Seniors who would like Ms. Barrott to send their transcript to colleges/universities must fill out this form. Print outs can be found in the Guidance Office.
