Principal's Message

Principal's Message

Dear St. Bernard-Elmwood Place Parents:

On behalf of our faculty and staff, welcome to the 2020-21 school year! It is an understatement to say that this year’s opening of school will be unlike any other. This year, some of you will begin the school year at home working on a virtual learning platform. Others will return to a very different looking school building, one with smaller class sizes, sanitizer stations, an extra lunch bell, and other important adjustments. We will continue to share with you the measures we have put in place to ensure that your child’s return will be as safe and healthy as possible.

But for all these changes, many things remain the same. We still have the same great teachers who are committed to your child’s success and who go the extra mile every day for them. We still have the same strong Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) system to help your students work through their challenges and meet their social emotional needs. We still have parents and families whose love and support of their kids kept them focused and working during the shutdown. And each day, our pre-K-12 school building will continue to rise out of the ground and be ready to open next year. In all these things, we remind ourselves that we are and remain #SBEPStrongerTogether!

Take care, stay safe and healthy, and…GO TITANS!
